Atlantic City, Atlantic City Taxes

March City Beat

Here is a highlight from my March Casino Connection column:

Shake things up. No elected official has pledged to accept only a reduced city budget—not the mayor, and not one member of City Council. Citizens of Atlantic City, stand up and re-stack the deck. The cards have been dealt against you.

About Jesse O. Kurtz

I am committed to fulfilling the promise of Atlantic City. The town would benefit from greater political participation by average citizens. Hopefully, some of the posts herein will encourage you to get more involved in your community. This blog will also feature other topics and subjects beyond Atlantic City. I hope that you will come to love Atlantic City as much, or more than I do.

  1. Very good and very accurate. It’s apparent that there is a conspiracy going on to raise the city’s budget. A reval isn’t a reason to raise the budget, it’s simply a redistribution of how the funds for the budget are raised. The greedy elected officials in AC are salivating at the thought of hiring more friends and family members for do-nothing jobs and stroking their campaign contributors so they can get the big payoff. We need to throw ALL the bums out!
