Is Atlantic City Victim to Bogus Voter Registrations?

There has been a lot of speculation about the validity of large numbers of voter registrations this year.   ACORN has been instrumental in registering record numbers of voter registrations.   ACORN has been subjected to multiple investigations for fraud in voter registrations.   NPR reports:

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also known as ACORN, is under investigation by the FBI and nearly a dozen states for allegations of submitting false voter registration forms.

Could this type of fraudulent voter registration be taking place in Atlantic City?

There have been 2,169 new voter registrations in Atlantic City between June’s primary and the recent deadline.   The large number of registrations has been brought up, but not much has been discussed about how these new registrations have been scrutinized.   It is great to see interest in our electoral process.   There is a lot of fraud around the country.   I wish that I heard a little more vigilance in dealing with new voter registrations, especially in Atlantic City.

  1. Are you kidding me? It’s been going on for years, and the Callaways made it 10x worse. So where they are finding 2,000 voters in a city where there are maybe 15,000 adults needs to be looked at. But who is going to do it? Chris Christie?
